Recently emerging as one of the most interesting talents dotting the Italian underground, Ssiege - already known to industry insiders as Giesse - is an intimate and emotive project that shines in a moment of rare complexity, between ethereal ambient-pop and abstract rhythms.
The four-piece live line-up has the task of transforming the elusive imagery of the artist's first two works from Spoleto into the essence of what ambient music represents in his unconscious; Meteora and Fading summer are born from a strong desire to spontaneously confuse the codes of abstract music to give shape to something deeply personal. If by definition ambient is sound that aspires, that surrounds, SSIEGE's work spontaneously moves in the same direction and the ensemble cannot but be the maximum expression of this surreal process of liberation.
