Artist, musician, and producer Alex Braga is a pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence in Italy. He developed A-MINT, an adaptive artificial intelligence ecosystem that works in real-time and interacts with the artists both on audio and visual parameters. “Spleen Machine” (2019) is his first full length record produced by the German label 7K!. Rolling Stone Italy also listed it as one of the 10 most influential records made using AI aside from world-renowned artists such as Holly Herndon. Spleen Machine AV show was presented in prestigious festivals and venues in Europe, including Ars Electronica, Mutek, Sonar, RomaEuropa, Centre Pompidou, and Rothko Center. His new project Automatic Impermanence debuted as an art installation and performance in the super selling Exhibition “Ipotesi Metaverso”. A multimedia immersive full concert show and a record are debuting in 2024.
The new chapter of his work is the multimedia project “Automatic Impermanence“, which debuted as an art installation and the Beta performance in the super-selling Exhibition “Ipotesi Metaverso” at Palazzo Cipolla (April – July 2023). A full immersive performance will debut this year with a new full-length record. Automatic Impermanence, produced by Robert Lippok (founder of seminal To Rococo Rot), is a stunning and lucid snapshot of our dystopian times, where technology, humans, and the future are the centerpieces of a possible new perspective for tomorrow, fiercely vibrating between the edges of fulfilled or destruction that challenges the audience to find the “infinite within the finite boundaries of our world”.
