Worldwide booking

Francesco Fabris is an Italian, Reykjavík-based interdisciplinary artist, composer and producer working across audiovisual performance, live electronics and multimedia installations.

His practice explores the translation of natural environments into abstract sonic and visual forms through field recordings, acoustic ecology, synthesis, spatial audio and machine-driven processes. Drawing inspiration from glacial and volcanic landscapes, marine ecosystems, industrial environments and geological phenomena, his work creates immersive experiences where sound, image and space continuously reshape one another.

Fabris has released music on Bedroom Community, Room40, INNI and Until Riots, and has collaborated with artists including Ben Frost, Jónsi, Lawrence English, Valgeir Sigurðsson, Swans, Alex Somers and Dustin O’Halloran. Alongside his artistic practice, he works extensively across film, television and contemporary art, contributing to productions including the Academy Award and BAFTA-winning All Quiet on the Western Front, DARK, Conclave, Dune: Prophecy, The Old Guard and Silo.

His work has been presented internationally at festivals, museums and cultural institutions including Venice Biennale, IRCAM Paris, Hangar Bicocca, INNER_SPACES, Athens Digital Arts Festival, Moogfest and NONAGON Festival.

Francesco is currently touring with DISPLACES, an audiovisual live performance released by Bedroom Community, and PETRA, an immersive 360° dome work created in collaboration with Canadian sound artist Ava Grayson.
