Halina Rice is a London-based sound-designer, musician and AV artist. Uniting elements of ambient, experimental and dance music, her sound ranges from evocative and melancholic soundscapes to beat-driven tracks. Each of her tracks comprises both music and the creation of a virtual environment in which Rice can perform live creating an immersive environment with custom lights, digital projections and multichannel p.a.
Halina wishes to create an immersive experience for the audience that transports the viewer, creating unique worlds. Inspired by the work of digital artists such as Keijiro Takahashi – Rice has gathered an international team of visual and technical artists to create a unique and inspiring show described as “part rave, part art-happening”.
Her live performance Elision has been presented in many sold-out event in the UK throughout 2022-23 and is programmed for festival in Italy, Spain, Belgium so far.
