Lorem is an individual/multiple identity working across sound and media through narrative audiovisual performances and research on machine learning, perception and emotional datasets.
2024 saw the release of Time Coils (Krisis Publishing), and a collaboration with Pinch on a joint EP released by the UK label Tectonic. Their recent and upcoming projects include a new visual work with Silvia Costa for the Dutch National Opera, debuting in March 2026 , and the launch of the project ⊙ (Circled Dot) with Katatonic Silentio.
Lorem has collaborated with artists and practitioners such as Danny Elfman, Blixa Bargeld, MAEID, Acre, Senyawa, Mario Klingemann and Silvia Costa. Their work has been presented at institutions and festivals including Ars Electronica, La Biennale di Venezia, Berlin Transmediale, NXT Museum Amsterdam, Opéra de Lille, Sheffield Doc/Fest, Triennale di Milano, HEK Basel, LEV Festival and Elektra Biennale Montréal
