Arka Kinari is an “immersive and submerged” multimedia performance by Filastine & Nova presented directly from the deck of a traditional sailing boat, which through live music and video mapping speaks of an imaginary post-carbon economy world, resilience to ongoing climate change as well as the reunion with one of the last great “common goods”: the sea.
Their performance uses the deck of the boat as a stage and the sails as projection screens.
The floating cultural platform that sounds the alarm on climate change and build networks of resilience in coastal communities– has been confirmed at Biennale Kochi in India on January 2026 and they will enter the Mediterranean Sea in late spring, after spending many years in Oceania.
