HATIS NOIT with AKASHA

This creative production was commissioned by Basemental and the Teatro Comunale di Modena within the framework of the Belcanto Festival.

Conceived for a grand Italian-style opera house, the project features a site-specific visual scenography and bespoke lighting design by visual artist Akasha, developed in close dialogue with the spatial and acoustic qualities of the theatre and the live performance by Hatis Noit.
Abstract visuals, light and architectural space merge into a single performative environment, extending the relationship between voice, space and perception.

Akasha (Riccardo Franco-Loiri) is a visual and new media artist working across digital abstraction, immersive live visuals and stage design. Co-founder of High Files studio, his practice spans architectural videomapping, large-scale installations and live performances presented internationally in festivals, museums and performing arts venues.
