SARAH DAVACHI

A composer and performer of acoustic and electroacoustic music, Sarah Davachi‘s work is concerned with the strict complexity of timbral and temporal space, using extended durations and simple harmonic structures that emphasise subtle variations in structure, overtone complexity, psychoacoustic phenomena, temperament and pitch. The instrumentation he employs is varied and includes electric organ, pipe and reed organ, tape samplers, voice, analogue synthesisers, piano and strings, brass and woodwind both modern and antique.
